The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday they have acquired forward Hedo Turkoglu from the Orlando Magic in a sign-and-trade deal, and received forward Devean George and guard- Antoine Wright from the Dallas Mavericks. As part of the four-team trade, the Raptors sent cash considerations to Orlando, a 2016 second-round draft pick to the Memphis Grizzlies, forward Kris Humphries, forward-centre Nathan Jawai and cash considerations to Dallas. The Mavericks formally acquired forward Shawn Marion in a sign-and-trade deal with the Raptors. In return, the Mavericks sent cash considerations to the Magic and also traded guard Jerry Stackhouse and cash considerations to the Grizzlies in exchange for guard Greg Buckner. "We are very pleased to have landed one of the top free agents available this summer," Raptors president said Bryan Colangelo said in a statement Thursday. "Hedo Turkoglu is an ideal fit basketball wise, and his diverse skill set and size will make him a tremendous addition to our already offensively potent team. Turkoglu helped lead the Orlando Magic to the NBA Finals this past season, averaging 15.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 38.9 minutes in postseason play as Orlando reached the NBA Finals. Marion, a 10-year veteran, has career averages 17.8 points and 9.9 rebounds to go along with 2.0 assists, 1.83 steals, 1.31 blocks and 37.9 minutes in 745 games (730 starts). Marion has been named All-NBA Third Team two times (2005, 2006) and was a four-time All-Star with the Phoenix Suns. --
