In a clip posted to YouTube, Rihanna is working through “We Found Love” and can be seen walking past the front row. She pauses briefly and appears to thump an overeager fan with her mic. The muffled sound as the mic connects with a head can be heard through the PA. The video currently doing the rounds isn’t of high quality, but it does capture the moment. Watch it here. The Barbados-born artist has missed a handful of U.S. shows on this giant world tour. She canceled a gig in Boston, just the second city on the tour. And a follow-up performance was also canned in Baltimore. On both occasions, the singer missed due to illness – or more specifically, laryngitis. Live Nation were then forced to reschedule dates in Dallas and Houston. Away from the tour, Rihanna has been targeted by an apparent stalker, who was arrested on the roof of her property in Pacific Palisades. The singer wasn’t at home when the incident occurred, the L.A. Times reports. Rihanna isn’t the first female artist to go into battle with her fans.
