曾接触过法政类科的人应该对Hawthorne这个字不会陌生。 　Hawthorne Headhunters（http://www.myspace.com/hawthorneheadhunter）是由 I, Ced（http://www.myspace.com/ced74）、 Black Spade（http://www.freshselects.net/blackspadeobama）和 Proh Mic（http://www.myspace.com/prohmic）三人组成的制作团队，而这张经由 DJ Needles（http://www.myspace.com/djneedles）混音、可供免费或赞助付费下载的 HVW8 RECORDS x FRESH SELECTS present…Hawthorne Headhunters Mixtape，是近期我听 得很仔细的专辑。 　 　先从这首歌曲下手，She Wanna。 　https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgC7a-uo_NM 　She Wanna是今年年初便找得到的歌曲，这支live video的人员就是接下来的专辑班底 （但控制团体主节奏的I, Ced并未於video中现身）。 　一开始坐着的那位是Black Spade。他在2008年发行个人专辑To Serve With Love，在台 湾是交由映象唱片出版（台压片http://www.hinote.com.tw/product.aspx?sn=4913），节 奏很特别的一张alternative HipHop专辑。 　中途出现的女声是JimiJames（http://www.myspace.com/rahrahgirl）。取了个男性化 的名字，又称为Rah Rah Girl（http://www.jimijamesmusic.com/）的JimiJames，2006年 曾发行她的音乐碟The Truth（http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/jimij）。这类现场演出经验超 丰富的女声，音乐掌握度比一般录音室歌手要强很多。（请参本板3952篇或关键字搜寻） 　那位乱晃的男声就是Coultrain（http://www.myspace.com/coultrainmusic）。个人高 度推崇的Coultrain，来自密西西比河岸的圣路易城，以些许蓝调的嗓音，表现慵懒却自信 的独特音乐性，无论是出版的个人专辑或与 PPP（http://www.myspace.com/platinumpiedpipers）的合作，都是不可多得的作品。 　原始版本的She Wanna请参： 　http://www.moovmnt.com/2008/07/03/the-hawthorne-headhunters-she-wanna-hvw8/ 　HVW8 RECORDS x FRESH SELECTS present…Hawthorne Headhunters Mixtape，是7月初 与黑乐网站freshselects（http://www.freshselects.net/）联名发表之作，基本上它的 歌曲卡接并不是做的很出色；但我们可以不考虑这小瑕疵。这张专辑传达的要旨，似乎隐 藏着1920年代Hawthorne Experience的精神── 　　从「科学管理」以理论主导的局限中，找出後来意外促成的「行为科学」理论 　科学管理好比是HipHop和R&B的各自论述，行为科学则是「归纳变动中的人的行为」。 Hawthorne Headhunters以HipHop和R&B为根基，藉着不断的实验，考虑客观的「人的因 素」（实证法），或许过程是让人摸不着头绪的新手段，结果也纯属未知，但其目的却是 为广意范畴的黑人音乐试探新方向。 　这是自2005年左右便展开的音乐态度，这张mixtape，只是众多实验中的其中一个果实， 期待再五年左右，HipHop与R&B可经由这些默默耕耘的人们手中，媒合出新乐种。这不是凭 空臆测，而是可大胆猜测的未来事实。 Tracklisting: 01.
