这是我从2002 11月号的Hoop上面一字一字打上来的 献给各位火箭迷或巴克力迷 个人觉得他说话真的相当率性 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ★ "If I weren't earning more than $3 million a year to dunk a basketball, most people on the street would run in the other direction if they saw me coming." 『如果我不是靠灌篮每年赚进超过300万美元，大部分的人看到我迎面走来就会掉头 走开。』 ＃个性坦率的巴克力(Charles Barkley)谈到美国的种族歧视时，作了上述的比喻。 ★ "There was a fly om my arm and I had an itch in my armpit and I was trying to get rid both, and I moved my arms. He didn't even give me a chance to explain." 『我的手臂上有只苍蝇，而且胳肢窝很痒，因为我想赶走苍蝇并抓养，所以挥动了手 臂。裁判根本连解释的机会都不给我！』 ＃当老巴因为向篮网队後卫巴格勒(John Bagley)挥肘而被裁判驱逐出场後，向记者 吐苦水。 ★ "These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it." 『这些是我的新球鞋，都是好球鞋。你穿上它不会让你像我一样有钱，也不会让你跟我 一样会抓篮板，当然它也不会让你跟我一样帅气。它们最多将让你有一双跟我一样的球 鞋而已，最多就是这样。』 ＃这是巴克力在球鞋广告里的台词。 ★ "You've got to believe in yourself. Hell, I believe I'm the best-looking guy in the world. And I might be right." 『你必须相信你自己。对啊，像我就相信自己是天字第一号的大帅哥。我想我说的 没错！』 ＃当被问到如何建立自信心时，巴老夫子的回答是要相信自己。 ★ "He's one dimensional player who doesn't give you anything except blocked shots... we traded a first round draft choice for a 28-year old flyswatter who could score only 1.9 points a game. Hell, my grandmother could score two points a game, as long as she wasn't double-teamed." 『他除了盖火锅之外，是个不能给你任何帮助的大号球员，我们球队用第一轮选秀 权去换一个每场只能得1.9分的28岁大苍蝇拍。靠！我祖母只要没被包夹，每场可以 得2分咧！』 ＃老巴谈到同队队友宝儿(Manute Bol)时，老实不客气臭骂他一顿。这位身高7尺7寸， 体重却仅有220磅的非洲中锋，除了盖火锅之外还真是一无是处。比较传奇的部分是宝 儿的父亲身高仅5尺10寸，母亲亦只有5尺7寸，但却生下他和6尺10寸的妹妹。 --
