Dec 28： Barring any setbacks, Alston plans to practice at full speed with the Houston Rockets within the next several days. The point guard continues to work his way back after missed nearly six weeks with a hairline fracture in his right leg . The Rockets will not rush Alston back into action, so expect him to be sidelined for at least another week. He said he still had trouble with quick moves to his left but hoped that a long practice could lead to his return to the active roster . "It felt good," Alston said . "A walk-through for the team is a little different from my walk-through . I tried to push through it, see what I can and cannot do . I feel comfortable doing a lot . There's one or two things that mentally I'm trying to get past . But everything is starting to feel normal . "It (his return) could be sooner than we expect . I hate to make a deadline because if I don't make it , I would be disappointed with myself . But I'm not far away at all . It's a mental thing because some of the things I like to do give me trouble. Practice Friday , I should be able to get in there . I'm going to go and hopefully go through the whole two and three hours and go from there." "It's tough (watching)," he said .
