Kevin McHale: Dwight Howard 'not what he used to be' as a scorer
Former Rockets coach Kevin McHale was clear Friday about why Dwight Howard is
not the scorer he once was. Howard this season took the fewest shots (8.5) and
scored the fewest points (13.7 per game) since he was a 19-year-old rookie in
2004-05.
火箭前教头冰箱於礼拜五讨论到，为何DH不再是之前那位得分球员了。DH自19岁的菜鸟新
人年以来，这赛季的场均8.5出手以及13.7分皆是生涯最低。
"Throw it down to him occasionally, but if you throw it down to him on a
steady diet the poor guy just can't get down low and move any more," McHale
said in an interview on Sirius XM NBA Radio. "I think that back bothered him,
his hips are tight from that and he just wasn't the same player.
冰箱在Sirius XM NBA Radio的访谈上表示，你可以偶尔给他喂球，但若要经常给他喂球
的话，这可怜的家伙已经没办法要位跟移动了。我认为他自从经历了伤病後，他的背一直
困扰着他，他的臀部也处於紧绷状态，他再也不是之前那个球员了。
"He's worked hard on it. The kid does work hard on his physical conditioning
and trying to get healthy and stuff. But he is not what he used to be down
there in the low post. And I think the knee surgery, too."
他很努力训练，努力训练来调整身体，并且尝试找回之前那种得分能力。但他已经不再是
之前那个低位球员了，我认为膝盖手术也影响了他。
