09/04/2006 8:22 PM ET Bonds ties it, Hillenbrand wins it for SF Left fielder belts 730th career long ball; Alou plates two By Rich Draper / MLB.com CINCINNATI -- Barry Bonds' pursuit of Hank Aaron's all-time homer mark continued to sizzle as the Giants star cracked his 22nd homer of the year and fifth blast in his last six games in San Francisco's 5-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night at Great American Ball Park. Bonds has 730 career homers, 25 shy of Aaron's fabled record. Shea Hillenbrand provided the game-winning run in the 10th inning with a solo homer off losing pitcher David Weathers (4-4). It was Hillenbrand's eighth homer of the year. The Giants trailed, 4-2, in the eighth, but with Hillenbrand aboard, Bonds muscled out a two-run shot against Cincy starter Aaron Harang, who had previously allowed Moises Alou's RBI double and solo homer. Rich Aurilia drove in two runs with a homer and two singles and Jason LaRue also homered off Giants starter Brad Hennessey, who yielded four runs (two earned) over 4 1/3 innings. Giants catcher Eliezer Alfonzo sustained a right forearm contusion on a Harang pitch in the fourth inning and is listed as day-to-day, while the Reds' Ken Griffey Jr. dislocated a toe in his right foot on the wall chasing Bonds' blast.
