On the second night of a back-to-back, the Sixers fell behind early and it would
’ve been easy to pack it in. But this New Year’s Eve celebration didn’t
start early, as the Sixers (2-2) outworked and outclassed Golden State, winning
107-79.

The Sixers fell behind 20-7, but Doug Collins went to his bench and they
quickly turned things around. A 9-0 run got the Sixers back into it. By
halftime, they led by eight, and a 13-1 run to start the second half buried the
Warriors (2-2).

The Sixers’ defense held the Warriors to just 29 points in the 2nd and 3rd
quarters. David Lee had an especially hard time, shooting just 8-for-24 and
finishing with 19 points.

very strong start to the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
