The venue is the Wells Fargo Center. The event is the Sixers’ season opener of the 2012-13 season. The question is who will be on the floor for the opening tip wearing the home uniform? Richardson averaged 11.6 points in 30 minutes a night for the Magic last season. Nick Young could give Richardson a run for his money as the starting shooting guard. He is not a back-to-the-basket player, preferring to shoot the baseline eight-foot jumper or mid-lane 10-footer. Brand's front-running replacement has similar tendencies. On occasions when the opposition has a quick power forward, the Sixers will need to go to their bench sooner with Thaddeus Young replacing Hawes on the floor. But the lefty forward has anchored one of the best benches in the league along with former Sixer Williams the past couple of seasons.
