标题[题目] 学校的模考题

题目：All staff should know that special operating hours will be
in effect for the__________ of the year.
A.remain
B.remaining
C.remainder
D.remained
疑问：正解是C，不能用B的原因是因为那是形容词吗?(不能放of前面?)
如果想用B的话是不是要改成the remaining year就好了呢?
