先把它拆成两句
1.No artist dominated the mid-twentieth century in the way.
2.Pable Picasso did in the way.
两句合并,将句子二变化成形容词子句修饰前面名词the way,将後句的the way 变成which
(句子2的in介系词不能不见)
No artist dominated the mid-twentieth century in the way which/that
Pable Picasso did in.
将in拿到前面跟which一起(in拿到前面不能用that)
所以才会选答案(A),
(B)介系词in不见了
