砍完了，
如同以往，一早起来只看到general的信，那就是safe，
不负责任猜测，下一波应该是明年1-2月之间，
这波砍了14,000人，
主要是那些部门和职位目前还没有切确消息，昨天裁员之前的新闻是说PXT跟Devices

Amazon said it would cut 14,000 corporate staffers this year in a mass layoff
aimed at readying the company for wide adoption of AI technology.
The company noted that it would be hiring in key areas and would prioritize
those who lost their jobs for those roles. But the company also said it wasn’
t done with layoffs.
“We expect to continue hiring in key strategic areas while also finding
additional places we can remove layers, increase ownership, and realize
efficiency gains,” said Beth Galetti, Amazon’s senior vice president of
people experience in a memo to employees that the company put on its public
blog.

1. 其实这些听说不太对。
招进来养快一年再裁/PIP的几乎不可能发生，因为会占用一个headcount
而且年初也不知道有几个pip名额(每个组每年都不太依样，甚至可能是0)
更多真实的情况是: 阿...现在一定要pip一个人，那就挑最菜的那个。
2. Hire to fire这种传说更多是被pip的人在自我安慰的...
被pip的原因很多，甚至可能因为老板不喜欢你(风格差异)，但hire to fire/pip更少
我只能说在亚马被pip是司空见惯的事情，没有甚麽，拿好包，下一个FAANG-A照样进。
3. 另外就算过去hire to fire真的很多案例，这两年也很难这样搞了
至於原因我就不能说了，是internal的东西了
