The members of the Committee are Neale Fraser (AUS), Jean-Paul Loth (FRA), Harry Marmion (USA) and Nelson Nastas (BRA). : Davis Cup by BNP Paribas is the largest annual international team competition in sport with 142 nations having entered in 2003. The title sponsor is BNP Paribas, the Official Bank of Davis Cup. Wilson Sporting Goods is an official partner and produces the Official Ball of Davis Cup, while COLT Telecom is the Official Managed Hosting : Partner of www.daviscup.com. : The seedings are as follows: : World Group : 16 Nations/8 Seeds : 1 - Australia : 2 - Spain : 3 - France : 4 - Russia : 5 - Argentina : 6 - Switzerland : 7 - USA : 8 - Netherlands : Europe/Africa Zone Group I : 10 Nations/4 Seeds : 1 - Germany : 2 - Slovak Republic : 3 - Belgium : 4 - Great Britain : Asia/Oceania Zone Group I : 8 Nations/4 Seeds : 1 - Thailand : 2 - India : 3 - Uzbekistan : 4 - Japan 没想到DC排名较高的纽西兰被日本挤下去今年没排上种子,对我们来说是一大利空... 明年的签表明天就要出来了... 第一轮就是种子和非种子的对决,所以中华队会对上泰国,印度,乌兹别克,日本这四队. 场地方面,对上泰国或日本将依照上一次交战这次在台湾举行, 而对上印度或是乌兹别克,则因为以前没交手过,所以要靠抽签决定... 依照实力分析,四队都很难打. 对上乌兹别克可能是最好的如果能在台湾举行的话,否则在乌兹别克打,应该会选在红土 球场进行,加上对手都是老将,主场优势对我们会不利... 第二好打的应该是泰国或是印度(在台湾打的话), 泰国虽有Srichaphan,但第二点单打Udomchoke偏弱,王卢两人也常和他一起比赛球路很熟 悉,有拼赢两点的机会尤其又是在台湾举行主场优势之下.至於双打,Srichaphan一向都 不太注重双打而且也可能不上阵所以也是有机会五五波. 至於印度,如果是在印度的草地球场举行,那可能就没什麽机会了... 但如果到我们这里硬地来打,除了双打对上印度两位双打名将应该是没机会,单打对上印 度年轻好手(Paes不知到时身体复原了没...),应该也是有机会力拼... 对上日本会是最差的签表...王卢两人在国际赛没有赢过日本两位主力老将铃木贵男和本 村刚一,而场地方面,虽然会是在台湾打,可以选日本人最不擅打的红土,不过卢彦勳也不 擅长红土,所以还是会很艰苦,同样情形对上泰国也是,不过日本球员实力比较平均所以 更难打... 至於另外三队非种子,纽西兰,印尼,巴基斯坦,实力和王卢还是有一段差距,而且主场权都 会在台湾所以後年中华队要续留在亚太区第一级的机会是蛮大的... 另外,如果要提升球迷到场看球的人数带动网球气氛,泰国小子Srichaphan来台的帮助是 会比较大的... --
