Oct 3 The Seattle Post Intelligencer reported that Watson will be given a
chance to compete for the starting point guard position for the SuperSonics
this season. He will be competing with 2005-06 starter Luke Ridnour.
Advice: Watson averaged 11.5 points and 5.4 assists in 24 games with the
SuperSonics last season, after being acquired in a February trade from the
Denver Nuggets. He did not start any of the games for Seattle and has never
been a regular in any of his five NBA seasons.
He has started 40 career games, scoring 9.9 points with 6.0 assists.
