Police are investigating whether two officers should have issued Griffin a ticket for suspected drunk driving and whether they violated policy by driving him home to St. Paul after the accident. The allegations were in a lawsuit filed in Ramsey County District Court this week but were also supported by witnesses and a surveillance tape from a store that Griffin entered after the accident March 30.
