Flip Saunders said in an interview that Derrick Williams is losing weight,
working on his explosiveness, and will spend time at small forward this
season.
With Chase Budinger and Corey Brewer also vying for small forward minutes in
Minnesota, playing time will be tough to come by for all involved. Saunders
also said this is a "big proving year" for Williams, the former No. 2 pick,
and we couldn't agree more. But with Kevin Love healthy and a full boat of
wings, Williams may not have a chance to show his stuff this season
