标题[英中] 哲学相关的一句话

That which in the phenomenon corresponds to the sensation, I term its matter;
but that which effects that the content of the phenomenon can be arranged
under certain relations, I call its form.
在现象中，我把那与感觉相对应的东西称之为现象的质料，
而把那种使得现象的杂多能在某种关系中得到整理的东西称为形式。

来源就先不管了，我想问的是针对单纯这一文句本身因如何被理解。
上面这个翻译是某中译本的，但是我觉得以中文看了会很眼花，
所以我的第一个问题是，大家觉得中文译文有没有可能怎样翻比较好。
另一个则是对英文句部份 "can be....."之後那段，对於他是否真的应被翻成
"使得...能"有点疑惑，我的理解中，
that the content of the phenomenon (of how that/ so that)can be arranged
under certain relations,
是认为应该用括号前者之意，但该译文用的似乎是後者之意，
(该括号内是我自己加的，所以也有可能都不是)
请高手指点一下。
