第一句理解对了。
第二句，which 必须指 narrative，所以你的理解反了，应该还原成：
The world is abstracted from the narrative.
世界从叙述中提取而得。或：该叙述抽象地呈现出世界 (whatever that means :)
顺便説，这里使用了 It is ... that 这种所谓 cleft sentence，目的在强调 it is
後面那个元素，但这里的 from which 用得奇怪，不符合 cleft sentence 的常见情况，
我会改説： it is the narrative that the world is abstracted from.
: （rather的感觉好难翻的贴切...orz）
rather 作为全句的副词，意思是 on the contrary，很好懂。
: 我是不是哪里翻不对...因为我好像没有很懂这句话想表达什麽？ ＠＿＠
: 还是因为我的质性分析基础不好...所以没有了解到这句话的精髓呢？
