Although the origin of the first three foods is well understood, that of pizza- until recently, anyway -was for a long time an international controversy.」 "Although the origin of the first three foods is well understood, that of pizza- until recently, anyway -was for a long time an international controversy."这句话我有两个疑问，教材的中译是"披萨的起源长久以来在国际之间一 直引发争议，直到最近才罢休"。 我的疑问是：首先，并没有把 anyway在翻译中特别强调中文意思， 那麽 anyway在此句主要功用是强调"过去披萨起源引发国际性争议"-"直到最近"， 让两个概念读起来有起承转合的通顺感觉吗? 另外，这句话中文意思说关於披萨起源的国际性争议到最近就结束了， 可是文法书上说until用法，若是持续到什麽时间就结束了，前面修饰的句子开头应该用 否定的not形式，所以我觉得奇怪，"that of pizza- until recently, anyway -was for a long time an international controversy."为什麽不是指披萨的起源 一直具有国际性争议，一直到最近还是有争议性？是因为"until recently"所修饰 的"was for a long time an international controversy" 中的was是过去式，陈述的是过去的事情，而非现在的状况， 所以教材翻译成"披萨的起源长久以来在国际之间一直引发争议，直到最近才罢休"， 不知我的理解对不对? --
