Besiktas cash too much for West Brom in Carew race

Besiktas have beaten West Brom for the signing of Valencia striker John
Carew.The Turkish club outbid the Baggies - and PSG - for the Norway
international's transfer. Its also emerged that Besiktas' contract offer was
far bigger than what West Brom were offering.
Carew joins Besiktas on a three-year deal.
