标题[情报] 陈建仁院士 3月21日演讲(文教中心)

The Distinguished Research Fellow of Academia Sinica from Taiwan,
Professor Chien-Jen Chen, will be giving a speech on
“Current Status and Perspectives of Biomedical Industry in Taiwan”
on Saturday, March 21st, at 10:30 AM,
in Culture Center of TECRO, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
The speech will encompass the current status of the biomedical
industry in Taiwan, as well as challenges and its future development.
Dr. Chen was minister of the National Science Council, and
the Department of Health, Dean of College of Public Health
at National Taiwan University. Dr. Chen graduated from
Johns Hopkins University majoring in Genetic Epidemiology.
This event is free for anyone interested. A Q&A section will follow
after the talk. A refreshment will be served afterwards. For any

台湾前国科会主委、卫生署署长、台大公共卫生学院院长，
现任职中央研究院基因体研究中心之中研院院士陈建仁教授
即将於3月21日(星期六) 上午10时30分假华府华侨文教中心，
就「台湾生物医药产业之现况与愿景」(Current Status and
Perspectives of Biomedical Industry in Taiwan) 为题举行一场演讲，
内容包括台湾生物医药产业的现况、面临的挑战、未来发展的方向与展望等，
这场演讲由本组(驻美代表处科技组)主办，演讲後有安排提问时间，

陈建仁教授自台大公共卫生研究所毕业後，
负笈美国获约翰霍普金斯大学流行病学博士学位，
曾任台湾国科会主委、卫生署署长，亦为中央研究院院士。
陈院士对台湾生物医药产业有深入之了解，演讲精彩可期。
