Winter Storms Galore for the Mid-Atlantic Updated: Tuesday, February 02, 2010 2:38 PM This could very well turn into another big snowstorm for the mid-Atlantic with amounts greater than 8 inches in northern Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, southern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. This isn't gospel yet, but we wanted to give you a heads-up on where the worst of it could be. This will be the second major snowstorm for the region within seven days. Could there be a third? The computer models say yes. There are indications that even when this storm leaves on Sunday, that won't be the end of it. Yet another snowstorm could hit the region next Tuesday. That would make it four majors. Remember, there was the blizzard back in December. Four major snowstorms for the mid-Atlantic in less than 60 days. I guess one could call it a Winter Grand Slam.
