根据澳洲人报的报导，厄文并没有挑衅魟鱼。
"He came over the top of a stingray and the stingray's barb went
up and went into his chest and put a hole into his heart," said
Mr Irwin's friend and manager John Stainton.
根据报导，厄文本来是在拍纪录片，但因为天气很差，所以厄文临时决定
改替他女儿的新节目拍几个镜头。
所以挑衅之说倒是可以省了。
