However, in certain settings placebo interventions can influence patient-reported outcomes, especially pain and nausea, though it is difficult to distinguish patient-reported effects of placebo from biased reporting. The effect on pain varied, even among trials with low risk of bias, from negligible to clinically important. Variations in the effect of placebo were partly explained by variations in how trials were conducted and how patients were informed. : http://blogs.plos.org/neurotribes/2010/12/22/ : meet-the-ethical-placebo-a-story-that-heals/ : （http://tinyurl.com/2uzcjxm） : 前阵子看到的一篇文章, 似乎刚好跟 daze 板友以前贴的结论（不完全）相反 : 文章的重点大概有几个： : 1. 安慰剂效果很大（但是对於哪些病症有效还在研究中） : 2. 有道德正当性的安慰剂 -- : 安慰剂效应不需要骗人, 你可以跟病人坦承说你现在要使用安慰剂效应 : 实际上只是糖果, 即使只是这样还是很有效 就文章中提到的paper看来，似乎连open-labeled placebo都对IBS有效。 不过，那篇paper多少有些令人疑虑之处... 一来人数太少(共约80人) 二来drop out人数太多(有13/10人drop out) 三来期限太短(3周) 关於placebo是否真的对IBS有效，也许值得做更大规模的研究。 如果真的有效，那当然很好。 但即使如此，对於IBS以外的疾病未必会同样有效。 btw, IBS某种意义上，是个垃圾桶诊断 : 3. 很多长期以来被认为有效的药物（FDA approved） : 在这些年更多实验後发现也许只是安慰剂 : 比如一些明明化学作用相反的药物却用来对付同一个病症 : 有时甚至不敌安慰剂 : 4. 民俗疗法、中医药、针灸、顺势之类的 alternative treatments : 研究者认为, 就算不全是安慰剂效应, 应该也有很大的成份是安慰剂 : 比如研究者发现, 针灸跟伪针灸, 甚至不用真的伪伪针灸, 效果都差不多 well, both (3) and (4) are not news to me... : 稍微看了一下凭记忆打的, 印象中大概是这样 : 有兴趣的版有看完麻烦帮忙补充 :p : 不过我的感想是, 不知道猫狗之类的小动物生病去吃路边的东西治好 : 是不是也是安慰剂效应 XD -- So stand by your glasses steady, Here’s good luck to the man in the sky, Here’s a toast to the dead already, Three cheers for the next man to die. --
