MYLO是我昨天在实验室念书时偷闲浏览到的艺人 (感谢Galaxie大大的推荐) 很久没挖掘新电子艺人的我 对於试听时刚放下去的valley of the dolls和sunworshipper很有感觉 令人想到的是一派法式down-tempo/lounge的艺人如zero 7 但是MYLO不只是如此 再来听到musclecar这般复古synth舞曲 以及drop the pressure这样融合funk/disco的有趣作品 才了解原来这样的东西才是他的重点! 有兴趣听他那首专辑同名曲Destroy Rock & Roll的朋友们可以从单曲LP试听 MYLO有趣地取样了电吉他的riff搭配disco 背景的人声不断朗诵着本世纪具影响力的摇滚歌手的名字 很多玩电子乐的艺人喜欢宣告摇滚乐的发展已到末路 即使大部分玩电子的乐手都是从摇滚乐起家 ^^"" 本日推荐的sunworshipper有趣之处在於中间出现的那一段话: "..well, this just solved all of my problems to get out of drugs..
