The Impossible Dream 是百老汇音乐剧 Man of La Mancha (梦幻骑士) 其中一首相当
有名的曲子。Man of La Mancha 为 Dale Wasserman 的创作。曾被改编成电影和电视
剧。此剧中剧是以西班牙小说人物 Don Quixote (唐吉诃德) 及其作者 Cervantes
Saavedra (塞曼提斯) 为主角。Don Quixote 藉由此首 The Impossible Dream 道出
「知其不可而为之」的梦想，相当令人感动。
