Our laboratory is dedicated to the study and prevention of tumors induced by the Epstein-Barr virus. The project will investigate the Molecular Biology of the Epstein-Barr virus and will include construction of virus mutants using BAC technology. Desired qualification: We are seeking highly committed individuals with a strong interest in Virology and Oncology. The position is available immediately and is most suitable for individuals who have recently completed a BSc or a MSc in Biology, Biotechnolog , Biochemistry, Medicine or Chemistry with high grade honours. Candidates with a BSc will probably be required to take additional courses during their PhD. Candidates should send a CV, three letters of reference and a letter of motivation describing their practical laboratory experience and their views on what they consider to be the important issues in the Epstein-Barr virus field.
