http://www.xfm.co.uk/Article.asp?b=news&id=16142 X-clusive: Suede Rarities Tracklisting Unveiled Following the reported meeting of former-Suede stars Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler, Xfm Online can X-clusively reveal the details of the band's fan-club only rarities album. The 12-track CD will be titled 'See You In The Next Life...' and will feature a collection of rarely heard alternate versions and remixes of familiar Suede songs including the track 'Elaine Paige'. The relatively unknown recording was originally slated as a potential B-side for 'New Generation' at the end of 1994, and later resurrected for the 'Trash' single re-titled as 'Another No One'. The rare French language version of 'The Power', 'La Puissance' will also feature on the disc as well as Clash legend Mick Jones' remix of 'Attitude'. The CD is currently in production and is set to include artwork chosen by Brett featuring photography by cult Belgian artist Jean-Pierre Muhlstein. Following their final gigs at the tail end of 2003, NME revealed yesterday (January 7) that Anderson and Butler had met up just days after the band's final Astoria gig for drinks and a meal. Having not spoken since Butler walked out during the recording of 1994's 'Dog Man Star' the two reportedly, "钙at in a corner with a pint each and put their heads together, deep in conversation. The conversation was very friendly and it was just the two of them." However, whilst this news may be music to the ears of some Suede devotees, others have expressed concern about the meeting. Some fans have said that they would love the two to work out their difficulties, but recording together without the rest of Suede would feel like cheating on the other band members, especially Butler's replacement, Richard Oakes. Other fans, however, have leapt at the thought of a new Butler-Anderson collaboration, as one fan stated, "钮emember, these are the people that wrote 'Dog Man f**king Star'!" It remains to be seen if their meeting will turn into studio time, but just two pints of beer does not a new album make. Yet.
