Eh? 29 Jan 2004 Rumours have been circulating that Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler are teaming up again, but it would seem Bernard has got competition if that's the case, as Richard Hawley has been asked to work with the former Suede singer on his first lone endeavour. Richard says on his website's message forum: "...i've been asked to co-write with Bret (sic) Anderson on his first solo outing, i'll keep you posted as things happen if you like." Yes please Richard! The guitarist who earned a crust playing for the Longpigs as well as Pulp, hasn't been twiddling his thumbs concerning his solo output, or Relaxed Muscle either. "More to come next year as well as my own new offering ive got loads of new choons so i'll be recording the new one in January," he tells fans, "Plus i've remixed "Tough it out" by Relaxed Muscle that may see the shops mid Jan." Not any shops near us mate. In other Suede news, it would seem Alex Lee, keyboardist with latter Suede, is teaming up with his old Strangelove pal Patrick Duff to help him record his debut solo album.
