标题[闲聊] Tall Tale

tall tales 的格式就是正经地讲一些不太可能发生的人事物。
范例1:
A northern mule who got in the southerner's corncrib.
It was a hot day and the corn commenced to pop, for it was popcorn.
And the mule froze to death on account of he thought the popcorn was snow.
范例2:
有个陌生人来到村内跟种马铃薯的农夫说他要买一百磅的马铃薯。
农夫犹豫了一阵子，然後说:
对不起，我不能卖你，我们这边没有在卖半颗马铃薯的。
