O Cuckoo! shall I call thee Bird, Or but a wandering Voice? 喔!快活的鳥你新來乍到,我已聽見你叫 聽你的叫喚讓我歡欣 唷!杜鵑!我該稱呼你小鳥 或是稱你為飄來蕩去的聲音 While I am lying on the grass 5 Thy twofold shout I hear; From hill to hill it seems to pass, At once far off and near. 我正躺在草地上 聽著你二重唱的叫喚 這聲音像似在山丘間傳揚 瞬息間忽近忽遠 Though babbling only to the vale Of sunshine and of flowers, 10 Thou bringest unto me a tale Of visionary hours. 雖然你只是對著山谷咕咕叫喚 談說著鮮花和日光的事 卻將我帶向某個境況 一個夢幻時際的故事 Thrice welcome, darling of the Spring!
