Folks, I think the following phrases and sentences might do a little help.
(1) sb's recording from the forties
(2) sb did the recording in the forties
(3) I've been listening to Sinatra recording since the forties.(Then I must be
at least 50-60 years old.)
(4) I've listened to Sinatra recording. (even for just a single encounter)
