Codes and ciphers are not the same thing. When you write a message in code
you replace words, phrases, or messages by different words, letters, or
symbols. When you translate the message into code it is called encoding.
Ciphers, on the other hand, translate every single letter, number, or symbol
with a different letter, number, or symbol.
简单来说code比较接近「文字谜」或是黑话、暗语等等（例如Da Vinci Code）
而cipher比较偏向数学的作法（例如Enigma、DES或是AES）
不过语言运用上code跟cipher之间的界线其实并不那麽清楚
例如Caeser Cipher也被称为Caesar Code
