我读的这本书的作者喜欢引一些文学作品，这一段是谈正整数只有三类 第一类是 １，第二类是质数 (prime)，第三类是合数 (composite number)。 但是一个正整数必恰好居其中一类，不能又是质数又是合数。它引用爱丽丝梦游仙境 的话作注解。我不是很懂作者的意思(英文下方是我翻的中文)，特来求教，谢谢！ "When I use a number," Humpty Dumpty said in a rather scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean－neither more nor less." Humpty Dumpty 用相当轻蔑的语调说：「当我使用一个数字」，「它意昧着我可以选择 我要的意思－不多也不少」。 "The question is," said Alice,"whether you can make numbers mean different things." 「问题是，」爱丽丝说，「你是否能让数字表示不同的事。」 "The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "Which is to be master－that's all." 「问题是，」Humpty Dumpty 说，「哪一个是主要的－就这样。」 Or, as Hamlet was wont to say, "I am but mad north-north-west: when the wind is southerly I know a prime from a composite." 或者如同哈姆雷特习惯说的：「我只是一个狂热的北北西人：当风往南吹时，我仍 然知道如何区别质数与合数」 --
