可能要看前後文一下，
以我一点点的社会学背景，我猜测那个place不是指物理空间
而是一种身份位置
比如说 跟小孩有互动，就建立了我自己身为母亲的身份
拥有这些身份对於生存在社个社会中很重要。
或许比较类似"身份的稳固"
（还是要看整篇文章会比较准）
