请问 double-guessing 应该如何翻译？「双重猜测」？
找了很多字典都没有解释，原文如下，感激不尽！
Writers can go only so far in double-guessing their editors, and editors (or
publishers) can go only so far in second-guessing their audiences, without
twisting the topic out of shape.
