in the past we were oftentimes financing on third tiers players in any given
industry, and the question wasn’t just whether the company could maintain
the liquidity and handle the debt on balance sheet, it was the oftentimes a
question of whether that company needed to exist.
And so, it tended to be a much more difficult call than the types of credit
cost we have to make today.
前面的我自己翻译的是
"我们也都投资在产业的龙头公司上,不像以前总是一些三流公司,不仅公司的流动性有问题,不一定能处理资产负债表上的负债,而且还得常常质疑它是否有存在的必要*"
但是这句
"And so, it tended to be a much more difficult call than the types of credit cost we have to make today"
我不太知道要怎麽翻
是说
"因为以前都融资给三四流公司,所以要让它们还债比要好公司偿还债务困难"的意思吗?
要怎样写比较通顺呢?
